Profile I'm Natalie Erika. I'm a food enthusiast, a dreamer, a lover, and a wanderer. I really like afternoon teas, surprises and flowers. I think alot, random or not, but I won't say much. You might think that I'm a little awkward. Pretty much about it. Facebook/Twitter/Formspring Adverts Favourites Archives November 2011 |

3D2N KL Trip - Part 1 Went on an impromptu escapade in the weekend to KL! The coach was scheduled to leave at 8 in the morning, and there would be a stopover along the way for a break at the cafeteria. Thereafter, we alighted at the bus terminal to take another ride to a station which would be within walking distance to the hotel. Like some sort of cheap thrill I guess? Haha. Arrived at Melia hotel to check in, yet somehow there was no room availability, and I was piqued by the service from the manager. The least he could do was to direct us to the lobby seating area and try to assist the problem with regards to our accomodation? Instead, he gave us the option to pay extra for a room (aside from the payment already made prior to date), and then walked off just like that. Tsk. :( We had to call back to the agency but it took some time to get a reply from the other side. So meanwhile, we went opposite at Berjaya Times Square to have late lunch. Didn't order much, but the food is pretty good! By evening, we went back to the hotel to clarify the issue, because it was the manager's mistake and he didn't even apologise? Seriously frustrating, wasted our time. That aside, the hotel room's really decent (there's a mini fridge and bathtub!), the stay came with two complimentary drinks at the lobby too. Settled the luggages, then off to Sungei Wang for (quick) shopping! There was a sale at Etude House, made a few purchases as I really like some of their beauty products. :) Despite the late hours, we ended up having dinner at the streets. The rojak has got to be my favourite, a definite must try! Monday, November 14, 2011
The Cheesecake Cafe Popped by at late night on Sunday for some tea and cakes again. I love the beautiful interior decor, very victorian style. Service is decent, and I like that they serve honey for teas, but the cheesecakes are priced slightly higher than other cafes I've been to. I had a slice of blueberry cheesecake and a pot of earl grey this time :) |
